2010 UWL Football Camps
"Camp of Champions"
UWL Football Camps Home Page
The “Camp of Champions” will provide campers with the ultimate experience. Not only will campers learn “championship” techniques, which have been the backbone behind the storied success at UW-La Crosse, but they will also enhance their experience by putting those techniques to use in controlled group and/or team drills.
What does this mean? The “Camp of Champions” is a great way for high school teams to lay the foundation for a successful season. During the week, all players will be instructed in techniques for their position, along with working with their respective teams in group-drills, along with the opportunity to put it all together in controlled scrimmage situations. Camp is open to all players entering grades 9-12.
Teams will also have the opportunity for dedicated team time during practices and the opportunity for team instruction in a classroom environment.
We will again measure our camp’s success by the athletes and teams who leave camp with the leadership abilities, pride and mental toughness needed for success in their upcoming seasons. We would like to see everyone continue as campers have in the past and become conference champions and state playoff contenders — hence another reason to call this the “Camp of Champions.”
We have just opened a brand new, state of the art Sports Complex featuring lighted practice fields and field turf stadium. Be the first to use our new football facilities!
